Announcement of Positions for the
Higher Committee for Educational Development in Iraq
Location: Baghdad, Iraq

The Higher Committee for Educational Development in Iraq (HCEDI) would like to announce that it is seeking a highly-motivated, well-trained, creative team of (25) teacher to work at HCED’s scholarships development center. These positions will involve teaching skills development for the teachers through a four-month training program with a team of international professionals.

Contracting method:       

  1. (12) Months contract with the possibility of renewal for newly employed individuals.
  2. Full time for transferred employees from other government ministries. 

Qualifications:

Minimum: Has one of the following certificates: M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Second Language Acquisition (SLA) or closely related field. Has an actual experience in teaching English language at the college or university level and computer competency.

Preferred: Has one of the following certificates: Ph.D. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Second Language Acquisition (SLA) or closely related field. Has an actual experience in teaching English language, experience in curriculum revision and design; and experience in project-based curriculum development.
